✓ Check the foundation, driveways, walkways and patio to see if there are any cracks in the concrete in need of repair.

✓ Check door hardware, handles and locks and tighten or replace if needed.

✓ Scrutinize any wood and consider refinishing or sealing.

✓ Touch up siding and trim with paint. Is it time for pressure washing?

✓ Caulk and repair or replace weather stripping on windows and doors if there are cracks.

✓ Clean the windows and door screens so that spring sunshine can stream through them.

✓ Clean out leaves from gutters. Make sure water is draining away from the house to avoid costly expenses later.

✓ Study the roof and fix any shingles or leaks.

✓ Rake up dead leaves and sticks that have accumulated over the winter.

✓ Fertilize the lawn, bushes and trees. Remove dead branches and bushes. It’s a good idea to aerate your lawn every couple of years to help air and water reach the roots and give your lawn a great boost.
